I AmThe Messenger Blog #1 Peanut Garrett
I wouldn't really call them friends. They are more like acquaintances. They are never there when he needs him. Audrey somewhat cares about him and she always ask how things are but she doesn't help. Audrey is the only one understands Ed. I think everyone can relate because we all have those people who we talk to and see everyday but we wouldn't really call them friends. Ed's family relation is strange. Everyone in his family is successful and living a good life but Ed is the one who is unsuccessful. His mother is a jerk who verbally bullies Ed. His family defers from his friends because his friends talk to him and hang out with him unlike his siblings who don't talk to him at all. I dont think they will evolve because they dont seem like the type who would care. I do think the doorman is an important element in the story because he is Ed's wing man. Ed and the doorman do everything together. They remind me of Tom Hanks and Wilson in Cast Away.

i agree that they are not really friends because they argue a lot , one example is the bank robbery. Audrey is the only one Ed is really good friends with?
ReplyDeleteI liked your comparison of The Doorman to Wilson. Remember when Wilson floated away from the raft? What is something like this happens to The Doorman?!
ReplyDeleteThey really aren't Ed's friends. They are more like acquaintances. All they do is give him something to do. And I think that his mom bullies him because of his unsuccessful life.
ReplyDeleteits cool how you put in that their acquaintances and not friends. its really` important to know the difference and his friends really show that their not fiends.
