     I think Ed learn about his friends by the way that when he tells them about what is going on in his life. Friends just ignore what he says. Also Audrey is trying to help Ed but she just gave him different opinions. His friends always have their opinion but they don't ask him how he think or feel about. I think Ed feel like he don't have the trust of his friends. So Ed now can’t count on his friends just because they ignore him. Also i am kind the same as Ed by the way that sometimes some of my friends ignore me in what I say. It pretty feel sad because your friends don't listen to you.

        

    Ed family is crazy by the way that his mom is she is a alcoholic person, she believe that Ed is not going to be successful in life like his other sibling did. They don't communicate to each other .His father died in the sofa and they didn't know. Yes I think Ed family will evolve in the future after his mom will see how he changes the life of others. And I think she also will be proud of him in how she is of her other daughter and son. 

    

        I think the doorman is an important element in the story because is the only friend who Ed can trust because he is the one who can trust him and doesn't ignore his opinions or facts. Like at the beginning of the chapter. When he said that he likes to walk with doorman and he also like to talk to him. Also it would be an important element in the story because it might going to help Ed to take out every that he can't handle inside his heart.
