  2. Ed received an envelope in the mail and inside the letter there was a card, the card was an ace of diamonds. The card had addresses and times written on it. He didn't know who had sent it so he asked his mother and friends. Never found out who sent it. His friends never really cared or bothered to ask much about it Audrey did every now and then but he didn’t really have anyone there for him. I can't say that I have many friends but this is the reason why I don't talk to people because they always do things to there convenience. So that is why I rather stay away from people like that. I do think the doorman is important in the story because they wouldn't talk about him as much as they do so if he was not important the wouldn't be as mentioned as he did if he didn’t have that important roll.

  3. 1. Ed had received an anonymous envelope in the mail and didn't know who it was from. So he opened it and there was a letter but just that there was also a card in there too, and the card was the ace of diamonds. the card had names and addresses to it and he didn't know what that mean't so he had asked around and seen if someone seen who put it in his mailbox. As he was asking his friends that didn't seem to even bother listening or care about what he was saying, they just brushed it off like he wasn't talking to them. This just shows Ed that he friends doesn't care about what he has to say to them. No i don't see a connection because the friends I have they listen to me and help me when I need a helping hand.
    2. Well Ed's relationship with his mom is nothing like he wants it to be, he's mom doesn't care about him, she's an a** to him and doesn't really talk to him much. Also Ed's dad had died so he doesn't have a relationship with him. Ed's relationship with his friends is nothing like he's relationship with his family. Ed's friends are good friends, they respect him, and treasure their friendships.
    3. Yes I think the doorman is very important in the story because that is one of Ed's best friends, he's the one ed talks to if he needs someone and one of his friends is not around. Also he is with Ed 24/7 so he will always be there for him.
